About Deborah
What a road Deborah Foreman has traveled. It all began years ago. The
intent to be seen and heard ... That was her only goal! How her many
careers came about she still looks back with much appreciation,
amazement and knowing that "luck" (She believe that luck is self made)
was always on her side. Deborah missed out on the college experience but
learned so much more along the way. Acting and modeling materialized at
age 13. She was singled-out by one of the well known and influential
photographer's, Wally Lewis, in Houston Texas and a modeling career
began in newspaper and catalog ads. She was later signed by Wilhelmina
Models, west coast division. Deborah earned a SAG card and her first
job as a comedy actress began in a comedy pilot for NBC Studios. She
enjoyed the opportunity to study with several of the well-known icons of
that era i.e. Roy London - this awarded her with more work in the
entertainment world.
Deborah even won a trophy early on, given by the famous Show West
Theater owner’s affiliates. She enjoyed an opportunity that many wish
for and only few are singled out, so she spent this time of her life growing
from a teenager to an adult. She acted in over 14 motion pictures (you
might remember her from VALLEY GIRL ), numerous television film and
guest appearances and many TV commercials. Although she did perform
in several mainstream studio films, she never ceased in my support of the
independent film industry, which is evident in the many substantial
independent’s Deborah appeared as lead actress. She also ultimately
succeeded as an American model for Maybelline Cosmetics introducing a
new line of cosmetics for them in the late 1980's.
